New York State Electric & Gas (“NYSEG”), a subsidiary of AVANGRID, is issuing this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) to qualified parties (“Bidders”) capable of developing and delivering innovative solutions to mitigate system peak loading capacity concerns and avoid the need for transformer replacements and substation equipment upgrades proposed by traditional solutions.
- The Swan Lake System (NYSEG) – Sullivan County
- The Hilldale System (NYSEG) – Sullivan County

Upon NYSEG’s receipt of a Bidder’s interest, NYSEG will provide the Bidder with details regarding the RFP pre-bid teleconference, which is scheduled for December 10th, 2025.
RFP responses are due on February 19, 2026, by 5:00PM EST.
