Utility Load Management Exchange
OVERVIEW
From its early origins as the “Advanced Load Control Alliance,” the Utility Load Management Exchange (ULME) is a PLMA partner organization that serves over 75 utility members and load-serving entities
ULME’s candid in-person conversations take place on Thursdays following each PLMA conference and span multiple topics including extreme weather events, operational errors, system best practices, novel program designs, and many more, making membership in this group an invaluable resource to utilities.
In addition, ULME offers an online peer-led discussion forum called “Ask ULME” in which it shares advice, ideas, and recommendations across its membership in response to member queries and conundrums. It also hosts online meetups on an ad hoc basis.
As electricity demand continues to grow in the U.S. and Canada, ULME welcomes utilities and load-serving entities to become members and participate in ensuring a smooth energy transition through peer learning, sharing, and collaboration. Membership in ULME is offered at no cost.
