National Grid has released a Request for Proposal (RFP) in need of NWA solutions to provide targeted load relief across seven locations in Upstate New York. These opportunities encompass a range of capacity requirements and service periods, offering developers and aggregators multiple pathways and opportunities. National Grid welcomes both partial and full solutions, including aggregated portfolios, that can deliver reliable load relief and support local grid needs.

• Who can apply: Demand response providers, energy service companies, DER owners, operators, developers, and aggregators.
• ‍Funding and incentives: This opportunity has a total value of over $20 million across the seven areas and service windows. Additional incentives may be realized by stacking this NWA opportunity with other wholesale programs. You can refer to the stacking matrix in Section 2.5 for more details.
