Participation Policies

PLMA Participation Policies:

The following participation policies (provided as downloadable PDFs) apply to all PLMA
members and stakeholders who attend PLMA conferences, webinars, and events.

These are also provided, for reference, with PLMA’s event registration forms.

Connectivity and Opportunity Commitment

PLMA is committed to creating opportunities and building a welcoming, supportive, and collaborative community amongst its load management practitioners and the communities they serve.

We celebrate our differences and promise to foster an environment of mutual respect for all members where all member voices are heard. We support communities with an affordable energy transition through flexible load management options.

Connectivity & Opportunity Charter

PLMA seeks to ensure its actions and content reflect our values through both internal and external opportunities. We seek to give everyone an opportunity within PLMA and the communities we serve; foster a more welcoming culture for members, leadership, and the energy industry; and create a more affordable energy transition through flexible load management options. Connectivity and Opportunity should exist across the breadth (functions) and depth (hierarchy) of PLMA.

PLMA is committed to integrating best practices that connect members and provide opportunities into policies, activities, and content. In addition, we will provide research, recommendations, event support, and policy guidance to leadership and membership when appropriate.
