Frequently Asked Questions
FAQ
Who belongs to PLMA? How do I find out if my organization is a PLMA member?
PLMA is an association of organizations and does not have individual members.
When an organization becomes a PLMA member, an unlimited number of its employees gain access to PLMA’s member benefits.
To see the current list of PLMA members, please review the Member Directory. If your organization is not listed here, and you’d like to find out more about PLMA membership, please go to this page.
How much does it cost to join PLMA? How do I decide what membership level is right for my organization? Can I join PLMA as an individual?
An overview of PLMA’s annual membership program and pricing are outlined on this page.
Deciding the best membership level for your organization will likely hinge on your expected level of participation in PLMA, and especially its Spring and Fall conferences. To gain six conference/training passes, the Sustaining Membership is the most cost-effective option. For two conference/training passes, the Advisory level makes more sense. These passes can be used by anyone in your organization, within each 12-month period of your membership.
PLMA also offers special pricing for utilities and smaller organizations to encourage their participation.
Our Staff welcomes the opportunity to schedule a no-obligation Teams video call with you and your colleagues to review the benefits and opportunities of PLMA membership.
How do I request a W-9 or other special forms for my accounting department?
You can download a W-9 for PLMA. CLICK HERE. If you need special grant or vendor forms completed, please send them to memberservices@flexload.org.
How can I post an announcement about my company, such as a new product release, request for proposal, or position opening? How much does it cost?
PLMA members can post an unlimited number of news announcements and job opportunities at no cost on PLMA’s News page.
To post an announcement, please go to the Post Your News page.
Does PLMA sell its contact list? Will PLMA distribute an email to its members about my organization?
PLMA does not make its entire membership contact database available to third parties, but it does enable PLMA members to connect with other members through its LinkedIn page, its LinkedIn group, and at conferences, symposia, and other events. PLMA also shares contact information for conference and symposia registrants with the event sponsors.
Does PLMA sell ads on your website or newsletter?
No.
