How Did You Become a Member of PLMA's Leadership Team?
My path within PLMA started by helping co-found PLMA’s Women in Demand Management interest group. Since then, I joined the Executive Committee, helped launch PLMA’s Spark DER Innovation and Load Flexibility Valuation strategic initiatives, and have been Vice Chair since 2021.
Subject Matter Expertise / Areas of Knowledge:
I’ve worked in energy consulting since 2008, then started working on “smart grid” and “demand response” (now “grid modernization” and “load flexibility”) in 2010. Over that time, I’ve built expertise in strategy development, forecasting, market research, program design, valuation framework development, procurement support, product development, project management, and stakeholder engagement with load flexibility, DER / VPP, and grid modernization—all with the common goal of transitioning to more dynamic, flexible interactions between the customer and the grid to enable decarbonization, resiliency, and affordability (which is also what we’re doing in PLMA!).
